Foundational field skills for the serious hunter
The Hunter’s Wilderness Campcraft course focuses on the practical outdoor skills required to operate effectively during extended time in the woods.
Designed for hunters and outdoorsmen, this program emphasizes firecraft, shelter systems, edged tool discipline, and traditional campcraft methods used in real field environments.
Students will learn to establish and maintain a functional camp, manage fire for warmth and cooking, construct reliable shelter systems, and operate efficiently with essential tools. Instruction focuses on consistency, control, and the ability to sustain comfort and effectiveness over time in the field.
All training is conducted in the field under realistic conditions. Students should expect a physically and mentally demanding experience.
This course builds on foundational skills and prepares students for extended backcountry operations.
