The Foundations: Bushcraft & Survival course establishes the core skills required to operate confidently in the field.
Built for individuals seeking a disciplined, hands-on introduction to wilderness living, this program emphasizes practical capability over theory.
Students will learn to assess terrain, select and construct effective shelters, manage fire in varied conditions, and operate safely with essential edged tools. Instruction focuses on decision-making, efficiency, and control in real-world environments, centered on the “5 C’s” of Survival.
All training is conducted in the field under realistic conditions. Students should expect a physically and mentally demanding experience.
This course serves as the entry point into the Vegvisir Outdoors training progression and prepares students for more advanced programs.
