Trapping for Survival

Primitive Field Trapping

The Trapping for Survival course focuses on primitive trapping methods used to secure food in wilderness survival situations.

Designed for individuals seeking practical survival capability, this program emphasizes reading animal sign, understanding travel corridors, and constructing effective trap systems using natural materials and minimal tools.

Students will learn to identify high-probability locations, select and build simple trap designs, and apply efficient methods for energy conservation in a survival context. Instruction focuses on practical wilderness knowledge, ethical considerations, and the role trapping plays in long-term sustainment.

All training is conducted in the field under realistic conditions. Students should expect a hands-on and detail-oriented experience.
